Proud to Serve

The Lakeville Old Colony Acushnet LIons Club consists of members from the following areas: Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Lakeville, New Bedford and Marion.  We are always welcoming new members to our service organization.

We hold 2 meetings each month: A Board meeting on the second Wednesday and a dinner meeting on the fourth Wednesday.  Click the email us link below to request additional meeting information.

Lions Club Mission Statement: "To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote International understanding."

Lions Vision: To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.

Lions Causes: Lions causes included Sight Conservation, Hearing Services, Diabetes Awareness, Environmental Services, the Leo Program, Youth Exchange, Community Service and Involvement and International Relations.

Lions club emblem: Consists of a gold letter "L" on a circular blue or purple field.  Bordering this is a circular gold area with two Lions facing away from the center, symbolizing our glorious past and promising future, The two words "Lions" appears at the top, and "International" at the bottom.
